Fly Fishing Taihape - Guided Trout Fishing - Taihape NZ

Taihape is a quiet town situated close to the Rangitikei river and tributaries. The area boasts some of the best sight fishing in the North Island. Pressure is low and the scenary amazing and with top guide Russell Anderson you will enjoy a great day fly fishing.

Summer Fly fishing trips are available from October to April. Superb backcountry fly fishing, rivers and streams accessed by comfortable 4WD and Helicopter. Nymph and dry fly fishing for wild brown and rainbow trout. Sight fishing at its best. You won't be dissapointed.

Accommodation is available in Taihape. We recommend staying at the Aspen Court Motel.

Trips can be catered to both beginner or experienced anglers. (Full tuition provided for beginners)
